Gifts

I am a gifted writer. Doesn’t that sound arrogant? It is arrogant, if I don’t give credit to the One who gave me this gift. If you give my husband metal and a welder, he will create unique, useful, and imaginative things. I wouldn’t know where to start, nor would I be interested in trying. Not so with writing. I LOVE to write. From poetry to snarky quips, I’m your girl. Now, why do I say all that? I say it because every single one of us has gifts from the Father above. We aren’t given these gifts to leave them wrapped and sitting on a shelf. Gifts are to be used and enjoyed–ultimately, they are to be put into the service of the King.

Father God has given me command of words so that I may bless others for His glory. Our world is sorely lacking in positive and uplifting content. Some days (maybe most) we need something encouraging to read. . . something to which we can relate and that we can grab onto as we walk through this life on Earth.

Join me, if you’d like, on my own travels. I am a no-nonsense girl–pretty much what you see is what you get. I like to simply share what the Lord is doing in my own life in hopes that you will at least know you are not alone. I struggle. I fail. I make some pretty royal messes. But I am loved with so deep a love by One who knows me better than I know myself. After all, He created me.
